Communication client not updating

I’m sorry if this question sounds dumb, but I am having an issue updating the communication client.

Is there a guide I can check see what they don’t update.

hi @Rudym12

Please log in to Endpoint Manager portal and go to Settings > Portal Set-Up > Client Settings > Windows > Communication Client and make sure the following option is disabled: Enable Communication Client to distribute update packages among the clients in the same network to reduce network inbound traffic

After this, edit the profile that is associated with the affected devices and check if the same option is disabled under Updates > Communication Client section:

After performing the above changes, go to device details view > MSI Installation State section and remove all entries:

If the reported issue persists after performing the above changes, in order to further investigate it, we need the local logs.

If the device communicates with the Endpoint Manager portal, run the the predefined procedure “Collect Comodo One logs using new CIS report tool” on the affected device.

If the device does not communicate with the Endpoint Manager portal, please download and run the following report tool on the affected device: http://download.comodo.com/cis/download/installs/cisreporttool/cisreporttool.exe

The tool collects both XCC & XCS logs and attempts to upload them to our SFTP (Device name is included in the name of the output). To be able to to identify the logs on our side, please provide us with the local name of the device to our support email support@xcitium.com

Looking forward to your reply.

thank you
