Internet Speed Test Script Required

@PremJKumar, please could a script be created to run an internet speed test? This link should help you and it is probably best if you host the application to download. Thanks.

Hi @allen ,

We have asked our script developer to check your error log and provide feedback.

Kind Regards,
PremJK

@allen what OS are you trying to run it on?

Hi @allen

Our script developer wanted to know whether any changes were made in the script.
When the script returns a 404 error, the direct download URL that it is using to download doesn’t exist. We checked in our backend server and tested the script again and it is working fine.

Our script developer suggested deleting the old script from the portal importing the script as JSON from the script link and run the script as LOCALSYSTEM USER.

If the issue still persists, can you please check whether the Antivirus is blocking the script from using the direct download link to download the speedtest CLI.

Kind Regards,
PremJK

Hi @nct

windows 11 23h2.

Hi @PremJKumar

I didn’t modify the program, I imported it directly for use.

When I use the persistent URL: https://script-downloads.itarian.com/ookla-speedtest/ookla-speedtest-1.2.0-win64.zip, the page shows erroe 404,
But I don’t see my XCS blocking anything, but I still tried turning everything off and still can’t load the page.

Thanks

Hi @allen

I’m in the UK and the link works for me. https://script-downloads.itarian.com/ookla-speedtest/ookla-speedtest-1.2.0-win64.zip. Can you test from a different computer or using another ISP?

Hi @nct

I’m in Taiwan. I’ve tried changing to different network connections and computers, but it seems I still can’t access the page.

Hi @allen

Can you access Index of /portal/packages/?

Hi @nct

Yes, I can access this page.

Can you ping script-downloads.itarian.com?

Yes, I can ping script-downloads.itarian.com

@PremJKumar , are you able to ask SysOps to check there is no issue with the file on the CDN?
