Is anyone using SIG?

Hi everyone,

I’m considering utilizing Xcitium Secure Internet Gateway (SIG) in our network and would love to hear some real-world experiences.

Specifically, I’m interested in how effective SIG is in terms of content filtering, overall protection, and reporting. Here are a few points I’m curious about:

  1. Content Filtering:How well does it handle content filtering? Is it able to accurately block inappropriate or dangerous content without causing too many false positives?

  2. Protection: How robust is the threat protection feature? Have you found it reliable in preventing malware, phishing, and other cyber threats?

  3. Ease of Management: How user-friendly is the management interface? Is it straightforward to set up policies and monitor network activity?

  4. Performance: Does implementing SIG impact network performance? If so, how significant is the impact?

  5. Support and Updates: How responsive is Xcitium’s support team? Are updates and patches released regularly to address new threats?

  6. Reporting: How comprehensive are the reporting features? Are the reports detailed and easy to understand? Can they be customized to meet specific requirements?

Any insights or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I don’t think you can purchase new licenses. This was posted last year…

Secure Internet Gateway (SIG)

  • Product placed into End of Life (EOL) period.
  • No EOL date has been announced.
  • Xcitium will be in contact about migrations / options.
  • No new subscriptions for this service are possible.

Thanks. Didn’t this supposed to be integrated into the endpoint protection?

Believe so?

Regardless of, implementation, your organization should run your own DNS sinkhole for logging & filtration as AN effort, even if it’s not the primary or greatest. Highly suggest it.
