Monitoring online servers and websites

Hi, We need a way to monitor online servers/websites and get alerts. How do we do this?

Can you please confirm whether you need a script to monitor online servers/websites and get an alert when it’s offline?
If I am wrong, please explain your request with more description.

Hi, We need to monitor servers and websites that go offline. For instance, a server uptime report then when it goes offline it sends an alert. For website when it pings the site and stops we get an alert.
