Hello Xcitium Community,

We’re rolling out a hotfix today for Xcitium Enterprise and Essential Platforms and SIG.

What’s Included in This Update?

  • Enterprise Platform: Enhances event data clarity with standardized process naming for better security event tracking and updates the Sensor Installation Guide for easier Network Sensor setup.

  • SIG: Supports broader subnet masks (up to /16) for flexible network policy management, improves license recognition in the SIG Portal, and fixes an issue blocking whitelisted facebook.com access under social networking restrictions.
    The deployment is expected to take approximately 2 hours. While no service interruptions are expected, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you experience any issues afterward.

Enterprise & Essential Platforms

Improvements

  • Improved the organization and clarity of event data across all event types, introducing standardized naming for processes (e.g., parent and child processes). This update enhances the ability to track and analyze security events with more detailed and consistent process information, making it easier to monitor system activities effectively.
  • Refreshed the Sensor Installation Guide to provide clear, up-to-date instructions for installing the latest Network Sensor, improving ease of setup and configuration.

Bug-Fixes

  • Corrected the report link in MDR email notifications to ensure seamless access to the Essential Platform.

Secure Internet Gateway (SIG)

Improvements

  • Enhanced network configuration flexibility by supporting broader subnet masks (up to /16), making it easier to manage policies for larger or distributed network environments.
  • Improved license recognition in the SIG Portal, ensuring seamless access to SIG policies and features for all entitled customers.

Bug-Fixes

  • Resolved an issue preventing access to facebook.com when whitelisted under a policy blocking social networking sites, improving usability and access reliability.
