Xcitium Enterprise & Platform and EDR February Release (February 12, 2026)

Xcitium Enterprise & Platform

→Enhanced Windows System Event Collection
Added support for collecting Windows System Events through configurable Event Collection Rules.
Impact: Provides improved visibility into Windows system activity, enabling more granular event collection and stronger detection capabilities aligned with MITRE ATT&CK® requirements.

→API Security Navigation Update (Cloud Security)
Updated API Security navigation in the Xcitium UI to correctly route users to Inventory, Specification, and Scan views.
Impact: Improves usability and ensures seamless access to all API Security features from the UI.

→Collector Navigation Route Correction (Cloud Security)
Fixed the Collectors navigation route in the Xcitium UI to ensure it points to the correct settings page.
Impact: Users can now reliably access the Collectors configuration without broken or incorrect routing.

Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)

→ Improved EDR Performance and Reduced CPU Usage
Resolved a performance issue in EDR v2.10 where the EDR service could consume elevated CPU resources on Windows systems.
Impact: Improves system stability and reduces CPU utilization, resulting in smoother endpoint
performance and reduced resource contention.

→ Improved EDR Performance on Windows Server 2019
Resolved an issue where EDR v2.10 caused high CPU utilization on Windows Server 2019 systems.
Impact: Reduces excessive CPU consumption by the EDR agent, improving server stability and overall system performance.

→ Improved Resource Efficiency in EDR Agent
Enhanced EDR agent performance to reduce excessive CPU and system resource usage observed in earlier EDR 2.11 builds.
Impact: Improves device stability and overall performance by lowering unnecessary resource
consumption during normal EDR operations.

→Application Compatibility Fix with EDR Agent
Resolved an issue where certain third-party applications failed to launch when the EDR agent was installed.
Impact: Applications that were previously blocked or crashed due to EDR hooks now run normally without requiring EDR uninstallation, ensuring uninterrupted business operations and compliance.

→Application Crash Fixed When Using EDR
Resolved an issue where the Net2.exe (Paxton Net2 Access Control) application could crash or freeze when EDR was installed.
Impact: Customers can now run Net2.exe reliably with EDR enabled, ensuring uninterrupted access control operations while maintaining endpoint protection.

→Improved Application Stability with EDR
Addressed a customer-specific issue where certain applications could crash while EDR was installed.
Impact: Enhances application compatibility and stability, reducing unexpected crashes when running EDR in customer environments.

→Improved VOIP Application Compatibility with EDR
Resolved an issue where certain VOIP applications could crash when running with EDR enabled.
Impact: Enhances stability and compatibility for VOIP and softphone applications, ensuring reliable audio functionality when EDR is installed.
