Hello Ilgaz
i want to ask a question about File Rating in Xcitium/Comodo
When the files are uploaded, can the files go to Comodo Antivirus Database | Submit Files for Malware Analysis ?
Because it will be much easier to get a rating and it goes to instant Human Expert Analysis?
image

And when a file gets rated by Xcitium Malware Analysts as Malicious the Malware Name is also displayed
image
TrojWare.Win32.Agent.oucrh@1
It has really cool malware names

@ilgaz So can you add so that the files go to Comodo Antivirus Database | Submit Files for Malware Analysis ?

Hi @Nik ,

Every unknown file is automatically uploaded to our database to analyze the file to give 100% verdict, whether it is safe or malicious. The link that you showed is our manual file upload site, where in the end all uploaded files land into same database.

Yes,but the issue with Comodo Internet Security Premium is when the files are uploaded to the GUI they stay Unrecognized forever and they never get a rating of good or bad so thats the issue with Comodo

This option does not work in Comodo,The files do Upload but they never get rated as Good or Bad

In Default Comodo Internet Security Premium uploads the file to Comodo Antivirus Database | Submit Files for Malware Analysis But this option does not work anymore, the files stay Unrecognized forever and i am pretty sure that this option does not work because that is the website for Malware Analysis

hi @Nik , can you please share a couple of examples?

Yes,i can,I uploaded this file 6 days ago and yet its still Unrecognized by Xcitium/Comodo

Same for the other samples they are all Unrecognized

And then i have to Manually Upload the files to Comodo Antivirus Database | Submit Files for Malware Analysis so i can get a Rating from a Xcitium Malware Analyst

For exeamples today i uploaded i think 10 Files to the site and they all got rated as Malicious here is an exeample below
