We’re deploying a new update today for both Xcitium Enterprise & Platform and the Xcitium Client Security for Windows (XCS-W) Agent. The rollout is expected to take approximately 6 hours. While no service disruptions are anticipated, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you notice any issues after the update.
Deployment Schedule:
US & EU Region Portals: July 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM
Xcitium Enterprise & Platform
Bug-Fixes
Resolved a bug where the “Show All Alerts” button located in informational alert notification emails linked to the wrong URL. The button now correctly directs users to the full alerts view on the platform.
Xcitium Client Security for Windows (XCSW)
Improvements
Improved platform performance by optimizing how event data is written to the database, shifting from individual writes to more efficient batch processing.
Updated desktop and Start menu shortcuts for the XCS Agent on Windows to display the correct Xcitium branding, ensuring a consistent user experience.
Enhanced XCS Agent user interface by removing outdated Self-Protection options to reduce confusion. Self-protection functionality remains fully active in the background.
Enhanced ransomware protection for network shares by adding the ability to enable or disable protection, manage exclusions, and log configuration changes. A new control panel with these options is now available under the Antivirus settings page.
Bug-Fixes
Fixed an issue where quotation marks were incorrectly removed from autorun scripts during script analysis, which could impact execution behavior.
Fixed an issue where a vulnerable driver was not processed correctly due to missing file attribute checks.
Fixed an issue that caused the XCS agent to unexpectedly stop running on certain endpoints, ensuring devices remain in a protected state.
Fixed an issue where the agent name under Program Features and All Applications displayed the old name “Comodo Client Security” instead of “Xcitium Client Security”.
Fixed an issue where the XCS main GUI window could block system reboot or shutdown if left open.
Fixed an issue where the XCS Firewall driver was not properly removed from network adapter properties when Self-Protection was enabled, which could disrupt internet access after uninstalling the Firewall component.
Fixed an issue where XCS branding reverted to Comodo instead of Xcitium after reinstalling XCS, even when a profile with custom branding was applied.

@Umut Why does Xcitium have so much faster rating then Comodo IS Premium 2025 which unknown files never get rated they stay unrecognized forever but on Xcitium an unknown gets rated so fast in under 30 minutes to 1 hour but also in 45 seconds. In 2021 Comodo FLS was so much more reliable and every unknown gets a rating in 1-2 hours but now in CIS 2025 FLS does not work.Why???.And why does Xcitium have a much bigger cloud infrastructure and why Xcitium has a much more bigger priority then Comodo?
Everything was good till 2023 Comodo FLS was working excellent and it was oiled everyday but now it does not work unknown files in Comodo free stay Unknown forever there is no Auto verdict nor human analysis
@nivedithab this is also for you you also should help because you are Xcitium/Comodo Staff. In Comodo Internet Security 2025 Premium Comodo FLS does not work and it never returns a verdic of good or bad and it never has Valkyrie auto verdict nor human analysis my question is why?
This functionality is now managed from the backend to ensure consistent enforcement of security policies across all agents. While the UI element was removed to avoid confusion, self-protection remains fully active and cannot be disabled by the user.
The ability to manage this feature from the platform is currently in development. These configurations are presently available only locally on the XCS agent, but remote management capabilities will be introduced in an upcoming release.
Xcitium has invested heavily in expanding its cloud infrastructure and optimizing file verdicting processes, which is why you’re seeing much faster response times compared to Comodo IS Premium. While both platforms share a common origin, they now follow different development paths and priorities.
We’re continuously working to improve performance, reliability, and user experience. Your input is greatly appreciated.
What free Comodo IS Premium users want is faster file rating like in Xcitium but the issue is that Comodo IS Premium Cloud Analysis does not work at all there is no Auto-verdict nor human expert analysis,In 2021 Comodo FLS was so much more reliable there were both Auto verdicts and human analysis but now in CIS 2025 there is none of that could you fix that?
i tested it multiple times and all files i uploaded to Comodo 2025 Premium they get stuck Unrecognized forever there is no Automatic Analysis nor human expert analysis it does not work Cloud Analysis is broken for CIS 2025 Premium so @Umut Could you please fix that
