[Script Request]Script modification

Hi Script Master

Can you help me modify this script?
https://scripts.xcitium.com/frontend/web/topic/modify-the-hosts-file

At present, it seems that only new uses can be added, and the previous settings cannot be cleared. Can you help me modify it so that I can delete settings that are no longer used while adding new ones?

hi @PremJKumar

could you please look into this request

Hi @allen ,

Please try this updated script developed by our script developer
https://scripts.xcitium.com/frontend/web/topic/block-or-unblock-the-specific-website

Note: Provide necessary values inside the script and run it as β€œLocal System User”

Hi @PremJKumar

I have tested it here and have a few questions.

  1. When I set β€œwww.yahoo.com”, β€œwww.gmail.com” in website_list and the Remove_website setting is blank, if I run it, it will delete my original settings and only keep β€œwww.yahoo.com” , β€œwww.gmail.com”, this will cause my original settings to be lost, which should not be a big problem, but the Remove_website setting seems to be useless.

  2. What I want here is to use a certain IP to point to my internal services, such as
    192.168.2.51 www.google.com
    10.0.0.8 www.youtube.com
Allows users to point directly to the domain. Currently, the script points the domain to the local machine because it is blocked.

  3. I ask you to modify the original script because it will keep accumulating. If I first add a new amount such as
192.168.2.51 www.google.com. Later, for some reasons, I had to change it to 10.0.0.1 www.google.com, but the old 192.168.2.51 www.google.com will still remain in the hosts.

Thanks
