In a previous post, you mentioned that with database version 39028, it would be possible to install Drift-Setup-0.7.5-x64.exe.
I updated the Comodo database to version 39030, but when I tried to run the installer, the containment feature blocked it because it was classified as “unknown.”
Four days later, a new version, Drift-Setup-0.8.0-x64, was released; I noted this new release and mentioned that it would need to be marked as trusted.
Today, I came across a post from you stating that this will be addressed in the next Comodo database version, 39034.
Hello,
I don’t know why that happened to you or whether that file was the same as the one that you shared, but what I can tell you is this: the sample named “Drift-Setup-0.7.5-x64.exe” with SHA1: “47fce8f1fdbfc5f0d5bde4ef862cdc5937e83126” was marked as safe in 39027.

Could it be that it doesn’t work because the program lacks a digital signature?
Hello,
I don’t think that is the case here. I’m not sure why you still got that pop-up message; it shouldn’t appear once the sample has been whitelisted. But yes, having a digital signature would help, because we could add that digital signature to our Trusted Vendor List, and we wouldn’t have these issues at every new software release.
